We live in a time where many artists have discovered the computer-innovation and have abandoned the traditional colour palette for the colour palette of the computer.
Ben Rotman belongs to that group of artists, that combine the magic of oil with the great possibilities of digital art. And that are conscient of their social compromise, this means, the creation of available art, available to people just like you and me.
As a graphic designer, being part of a successful advertising Company in Israel, Ben Rotman dominates in an unecualed way the technique of the computer.
His apreciable digital art on canvas navigates between art and technology, but also unites them in a dynamic rhythm of colour.
The artwork has an optimistic and invigorating irradiation, which in these confused times is more than welcome.
He chooses his inspiration objects as well in diverse figures, as in landscapes. He also takes his inspiration clearly from the actual political landscape and from society.

Ben Rotman was born in Israel and lives in Tel Aviv. He studied Art in Israel and Europe.
Since his youth, Rotman has painted basically with oils. Always open to new forms of expression, he applied for the first time the digital technology to his art in 1999. From his point of view, the technique has trespassed the brush and the pallette, to englobe the utiles and the spectrum of the digital media. These media, thinks Rotman, give the best way to express the accelerated rhythm of his visions and of his imaginations.
Rotman uses the pallette of of the 21st century of the digital medium to create works that offer a slight suggestion of image, within an abstract and mystical fill-in.
His applications of colour are dynamic and stormy. He takes the inspiration for his works from everywhere..., scenic vistas, music, dancing women, men, urban landscapes, politics and society.
Before founding Dagesh Publications, Rotman worked as a graphic d. Today, Dagesh has offices in Tel Aviv and Frankfurt *Germany( It is one of the leading advertising companies in Israel. Dagesh has won important awards in international Design contests in New York and Israel. And Rotman himself won the first price for two posters that he created for the contest of the Staatliche Museen Berlin für Architektur, Modebild und Grafik Design.
