Curriculum Vitae MYRA GONÇALVEZ
My formation.
is in Plastic Arts with emphasis on Photography, by the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul - UFRGS.
Currently I am attending a Master in Visual Poetics in the same university.
I work professionally in the cultural area of Porto Alegre as a photographer since 1991, photographing theater, music and dance shows and cinema. In this cultural pursuing, I work for artists, groups and institutions.
My trajectory
with P&B photography mainly gains importance from 1998, when I experience the laboratory technique in a photographic atelier, improving my knowledge about the laboratorial processing.
Within this professional experience, I emphasize on my entrance in 1999 in the team of the Nucleus of Photography of the College of Communication of the UFRGS, where I participate in diverse projects of education, research and development and my entrance as a teacher of development in this college, in 2002, where I minister since then diverse photography courses.
From 2005,
I extend my academic experience as a teacher professor in curricular disciplines in the courses of the Communication of the Faculties of Taquara - FACCAT and in the Technologist of Specific Formation in Photography in the University of Caxias do Sul - UCS.
To conclude, I would like to emphasize the fact that my entrance in the Master of Visual Poetics with emphasis on Photography in the UFRGS, in 2005, has made it possible to increase my knowledge on history, the theory and practics of photography, apart from being able to create another area of research in photography, especially, in the mixture of photography with other artistic languages.
