Curriculum Vitae JOSE RUBIO GUILLEN
Born in the city of the palmtrees (Elx) in 1951, he is an enthousiastic photographer since 1968, when his parents gave him his first camera (werlisa). Since then he has made thousands of photographies related to the landscape and his city. During this time he has received many photographic awards, wereever he has exhibited his works.
He has a collection of more than twenty thousand photographies of the mountains and the flora of the region, which have been obtained during the almost forty years of monutain walking through the entire province.
Today he works on the image of the palmtree.
As a result, the exhibition that is presented here and that has been shown for the first time in Arteria in Elche, last June '05.
